BirkmaND: Introduction to Neurodiversity

1 module

Birkman International

Welcome to Birkman’s Introduction to Neurodiversity course. Neurodiversity is an inclusive term for neurodevelopmental diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Tourette Syndrome, and others. Neurodiversity (ND) is not about mental health, nor is it the same as mental health... it's about how your brain is wired! In this course, you will learn more about the broad range of individual differences in brain functioning across society.

Thank you for the meticulous research and presentation of this content. It was absorbing, informative and inspiring. As a parent of a dyslexic child, I could relate to so the information and am so grateful that Birkman is forward thinking in bringing neurodiversity to the forefront as a significant factor in the workplace. The new report will help neurodivergent people from stepping confidently into a brave new world where there is accommodation, sensitivity, respect, understanding and acceptance.
