In this course, you will learn how to use The Birkman Method with neurodivergent individuals. This includes discovering best practices for conducting neuroinclusive Birkman conversations using the Birkman Basics report. You will also discover how conversations can differ based on types and levels of diagnoses, as well as how and when to adjust administering The Birkman Method questionnaire to meet potential sensory needs. We will also explore the BirkmaND report, a report designed to recommend accommodations based on one's personality. If you are new to neurodiversity, make sure to complete the BirkmaND: Introduction to Neurodiversity course before beginning this one! If you are new to Birkman, we recommend that you first take the Exploring Your Birkman: Map and Interests eLearning. If you already use Birkman in your organization, you will notice that many of these best practices are likely consistent with how you already use Birkman. That is because Birkman is naturally a highly personalized tool. Consistent with all Birkman conversations you have, tailoring conversations to the goals, awareness, and starting point of each unique individual is critical to the effectiveness and success of your Birkman work. Some of these best practices are even more important to consider as you engage in BirkmaND conversations. Read more
